Michelle Malkin supports terrorism

Posted by Edmund on June 24, 2008

Let us quote:

The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad. Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant (and not-so-ignorant) fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.

Let us analyze the hypocrisy that is Michelle Maglalang (what an odd and terrorist sounding name she had). Maglalang was born in the United States to immigrants who were not citizens of the country. They did not become citizens until she turned 18. She was “an anchor baby” if I may quote her:

“Citizenship is too precious to squander on accidental Americans in Name Only.”

She graduated from Oberlin College, which she describes as a “radically left-wing, liberal arts college. In fact she regards all Universities as “radically left-wing, liberal arts” colleges. Does this give us a direct cause and effect scenario? Are colleges liberal because the people are educated or are the people educated because they are liberal. Im sure atleast three conservative have had heart attacks to the large words in my blog today so I will dumb it down for our non college educated conservative readers.

Maglalang thinks the internment of Japanese (and anyone who looked Asian) during WW2 was warrented and “the right thing to do.” When it was pointed out to her by rights groups that she was Asian her response was “I am not Asian, I am American”, lets be honest- she was/is an Anchor Baby.

So back to the issue at hand. By Malkin’s own account she is a terrorist. She supports terror and is an anti-semite. She believes that people, like herself, should be jailed and then deported. She should have never been an American citizen and her parents should have been deported the minute they smuggled themselves into America. She must be a crazy liberal “moon bat” because she went to college and thusly should not be spoken to.  She married a college educated man who graduated with the likes of Rachel Maddow and George Stephanopoulos (The liberal enemy). Her husband is unemployed and stays home to raise the children (A women working? Damn those suffragists! Damn those liberal hippies!)

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Michelle Malkin : Hypocrite, Uncle Tom(Thomisina), Terrorist

Edward Said is rolling in his grave

Posted by Edmund on June 5, 2008

As is their wont, hard-line supporters of Israel have been pushing Barack Obama quite hard. He is, to them, an unknown commodity with questionable ties. Progressive Jewish opinion, on the other hand (and Arab Americans, as well), finds Obama appealing both because of his messages of hope and change and, specifically, because of comments he has made that indicate openness to a more nuanced discussion of Arab-Israeli peace-making. They latched on to, for example, comments he made to Jewish leaders in Cleveland on February 24th, where he appeared to reject identifying being pro-Israel with “adopting an unwaveringly pro-Likud view of Israel,” and his statement to a Jewish reporter that “in order to make progress in Arab-Israeli talks…both sides should be held accountable to previous agreements.”

There was, therefore, keen interest in how Barack Obama would address these concerns in his remarks before AIPAC’s policy conference today. For the most part, his speech pushed all the “right” buttons. It included a personal narrative that connected his story with that of the Jewish people, including his uncle’s role in the World War II liberation of a concentration camp at Buchenwald, and the larger narrative of the historic bonds between the African American and American Jewish communities based on a shared commitment to liberal values and forged in the American civil rights movement.

In addressing matters of foreign policy, the nub of the matter for AIPAC, Obama did his fair share of genuflecting and oath-taking, most of which is expected before an AIPAC audience that insists upon such displays. But, on the whole, Obama’s speech was less troubling than many others delivered before AIPAC, and contrasted favorably with the AIPAC “talking point” litany delivered one hour later by Senator Clinton.

He was properly tough on Iran, but correctly took on John McCain’s refusal to criticize the central role that the debacle in Iraq has played in destabilizing the Middle East while emboldening Iran and extremism. He repeatedly emphasized the need for principled diplomacy as the way to move forward. He smartly contrasted his commitment to peace-making with the neglect of the Bush administration by pledging active involvement in the search for peace between Israel and the Palestinians, and Israel and Syria, and noting the responsibilities of all parties in the Middle East to contribute to that process. He specifically called on Israel to “take appropriate steps — consistent with its security — to ease the freedom of movement for Palestinians, improve economic conditions in the West Bank, and to refrain from building new settlements.” He urged support for Palestinian President Abbas and Prime Minister Fayyad, and emphasized that “Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive, and that allows them to prosper.”

“Most Israelis and Palestinians want peace,” Obama noted, “we must strengthen their hand. The United States must be a strong and consistent partner in this process — not to force concession, but to help partners avoid stalemate and the kind of vacuums that are filled by violence.”

If he had stopped there, it might have been an acceptable speech to all sides, but he went further, including a deeply troubling reference to Jerusalem which he said “will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.” Left unexplained, this was both unnecessarily provocative and contradictory. If the U.S. is not to “force concessions,” then why predetermine the status of Jerusalem, one of the more sensitive and complicated issues in the negotiations, in a speech to AIPAC? And if Palestinians need a state that is “contiguous,” “cohesive” and “prosperous,” how does that occur when one has cut the heart out of the center of the West Bank? (Note: it has been a Palestinian position that Jerusalem can “remain the capital of Israel” and can “remain undivided” as long as that does not preclude the Palestinians from also having their capital in a “shared” city.)

The AIPAC audience may have cheered, but Arabs, who called me from East Jerusalem, where they were watching the speech on TV, were deeply disheartened, as were Israeli peace activists with whom I spoke.

Better than McCain? Of course. More thoughtful than his predecessors? Clearly. But for those who have embraced Obama’s “change we can believe in” slogan, a few doubts have now crept in.

Michelle Malkin and race hatred

Posted by Edmund on May 26, 2008

I like democracy, I like my freedoms but sometimes I hunger for a society where people can’t vote and those in power make decisions for us. Crazy right?

These moments of craving repression are caused by people like Michelle Malkin (and other wastes of matter). If people like her are allowed to vote in our society it is no wonder why things have been horrible for the past eight years. Their lunacy goes to new heights on a daily basis and serves as an insult to people who can formulate coherent thoughts. This week Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter, Littegreenfootballs and other “conservative” bloggers really jumped off the deep end. (Someone should really tell Michelle that she isn’t white and hating on immigrants is a little hypocritical).

Feministe summed it up wonderfully:

Thanks to Wonkette I found out about the most asinine snippet of fabricated outrage since Falwell warned us all about that sinister homosexual Teletubby. This time, right-wing cheer squad Michelle Malkin and Charles Johnson have frothed up at the mouth over the fact that Dunkin Donuts and Rachael Ray are colluding to support anti-Semitic terrorism.

Wait, what?

Rachael Ray in a Dunkin Donuts commercial

Look, right there! In the middle of the picture. No, above the “artificial sweeteners and skim milk are better for you” latte she’s hawking… she’s wearing a black and white scarf! Or more precisely, what the froth squad are calling a keffiyah — the traditional Arab headscarf that, in a particular black-and-white pattern, became a symbol of the Palestinian people and their struggles for sovereignty. Sadly, they’re not joking. Although I have to say I laughed out loud at the phrase “hate couture.” The thing is, if you look at the scarf Rachael Ray is wearing in that picture, it doesn’t even remotely resemble the pattern traditionally associated with the keffiyeh, which resembles an interlocking net or a chain-link fence. Look, here’s Yasser Arafat wearing one… a fairly iconic and well-known image. But Ray’s scarf doesn’t even have a regular geometric pattern on it.

It’s easy to joke about the obvious problems here. Dunkin Donuts has already responded to the controversy by saying:

Thank you for taking the time voice your concerns about the Dunkin’ Donuts Rachael Ray advertisement. In the ad that you reference, Rachael is wearing a black-and-white silk scarf with a paisley design purchased at a U.S. retail store and selected by her stylist for the advertising shoot. This is not a ‘kaffiyeh’, which is typically a checkered and cotton/wool fabric.

It has paisleys on it. You can see one if you look closely enough. At this point, we’re in the territory where any black and white scarf becomes suspect, whether worn around your head like Arafat or draped loosely around your neck. Extra Axis-of-Evil points if it has knotted tassels! And yes, Jon from Exurban League seems to feel perfectly fine jumping into that territory and saying that no, you shouldn’t wear a black and white scarf unless you want to send an anti-Semitic message of hate and support for terrorism. What’s next… is Santa Claus a Communist again because of the red suit? You know, we really shouldn’t stop at black and white scarves; even more radical Palestinian groups than Arafat’s (such as Hamas) have been known to adopt checkered scarves in red or other colors. We better check the whole Urban Outfitters catalog and boycott suspect neckwear — especially that one called “Desert Scarf,” that’s very suspicious.

However, there are bigger fish to fry here than the extensio ad absurdum of black and white scarves. The keffiyeh, the actual keffiyeh and not just any patterned monochrome scarf in existence, really is a symbol of Palestinian liberation. And this issue has come up before, when outrage from the blogosphere convinced Urban Outfitters to pull their strikingly familiar “anti-war” scarves off the shelves. Oh wait, except they didn’t really pull them off the shelves at all. They just renamed the products, calling the scarves shemaghs, a name also adopted by US and UK troops when wearing this kind of scarf as a face covering for harsh desert weather, or even just “desert scarves” as mentioned above. Fashion and marketing mutate the name, the pattern, even the material (silk’s not quite as good in a sandstorm, Rachael) until the symbol starts slipping out of your hands, and you start looking like a raving lunatic if you try to fix it onto a political opinion.

I actually think a lot of the criticism leveled at retailers like Urban Outfitters was valid. As Sieradski pointed out on Jewschool, the merchandising of the keffiyah dilutes and trivializes any connection the piece of clothing has to actual political conflicst. Posts from the Arab-American forum Kabobfest were quoted saying much the same thing:

With a great deal of discomfort and a tad bit of pissed-off-ness, I regret to (re)inform the KABOB-o-sphere that Palestine has officially become a trend…That’s right folks, for a mere $20.00 (or 75.0127 Saudi Riyal) you too can jump on the socially stupid hipster-doofus bandwagon by rocking your very own “Anti-War Woven Scarf!” (available only at Urban Outfitters… or..err..uh… the Middle East).

It’s another example of the fashion industry thriving on scavenging and appropriating whatever cultural traditions they can find to profit off of, but perhaps more saliently, it’s a fusion of military and political chic — much like Alberto Korda’s famous photograph of Che Guevara. A visual motif becomes popular because it originally meant something; 20-somethings in more affluent metropolises of the world adopt it to look countercultural, to express their political solidarty; finally, Urban Outfitters wants to make some quick cash.

I really do believe that some symbols mean something real. I disagree strenuously with anyone who claims that you can appropriate a meaning-laden symbol and turn it into a simple fashion statement; there are reasons global culture won’t let anyone get away with doing that to an angled swastika motif in black, white and red. (At the same time, I do wish more people knew the much longer history of the symbol and how it’s used in Asian cultures.) But there are two problems in this case. One is that the right-wing zealots are trying to foist their own blanket meaning on a piece of clothing that has a long history as a national symbol. I’ll come back to that later. The other problem is that Malkin and Johnson are complaining about a symbol that has basically escaped and vanished, lost its meaning in the Land of Miscellaneous Consumer Scarves.

The more popular the symbol becomes, not to mention the more permutations it gets put through, the less likely anyone is to make any kind of political connection. Regardless of how you feel about Israel and Palestine, isn’t that what we should be mourning here: the complete dissolution of an important issue that’s killed countless people, destroyed families, and ripped a region apart, into a meaningless fashion statement? The hilarious thing is that the right-wing froth squad have everything exactly backwards; it’s not like they can really stop anyone from wearing any generic black and white scarf, but they can yell about it as if the trivialization and dilution of real life-and-death geopolitical events isn’t happening. As if people’s fashion choices really did mean something, but the whole point of consumerism is that these kinds of meanings get sucked out and replaced with price tags.

Finally, here is the real question we should really ask ourselves: what about celebrities and political figures and everday folks who really do wear keffiyahs, unlike Rachael Ray, and wear them to express support for the Palestinian people? Malkin and Johnson would have you believe that this is a clear statement of support for terrorism and hatred for Jews. There’s something very, very rotten in that assumption — do I really need to explain it? Equating Israel with all Jews is suspect enough; just for starters, it’s an equation that a whole lot of Jews object to strenuously. Even in the United States, pro-Israel political leadership is having an increasingly hard time mobilizing support for Israel’s policies from American Jews, especially all the urban, liberal Jews in this country.

On top of that, the “keffiyehs support terror” mindset makes Palestine and any support for the Palestinian people equivalent to terrorism. You can’t really make that kind of claim with a straight face and also say you hope for peace in the Middle East.

yeah… they are worn all over the middle east, different colors and everything. Republicans and more over people who label themselves “conservatives” are really quite the uneducated bunch.

Kabobfest had this to say:

America Does Away With Algebra and the Numeral System

Because, just like the “scarf,” it is “too Arab” .

Although Will already posted on this, I think it is worth re-opening an already active discussion by shedding some light on the cyber responses to the pulling of Dunkin Donut’s online AD featuring Rachel Ray.

In a post about the DD commercial, The Huffington Post explains that townhall.com columnist, “Michelle Malkin and other conservative observers thought the scarf looked too much like a keffiyeh, what Malkin describes as “the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad.” (Her actual full quote is too priceless to not include in its entirety: “The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad.”)

How is a scarf worn and used by pre-Islamic Arabs (which probably includes Jews and Christians in the area) automatically read by Malkin as a “symbol of the Islamic Jihad”? One used to keep the sun and sand out of the eyes and mouths of bedouins and South Arabian desert dwellers?

Malkin also claims that accepting this commercial is a mainstreaming of violence. As much as this might shock readers, I would have to agree. Smalltown USA Ray wearing traditional bedouin garb is a violent assault on my culture.

Not allowing the ridiculousness of such a claim go unnoticed, one commentator, maggienow, on the Huffington Post sardonically observes: “I know for a fact Ray is a Palestinian terrorist ” I once watch her make a falafel on her show. Coincidence? I think not!”

Pacific231 follows suit:
“Malkin’s next targets:

The Pillsbury Doughboy. How DARE he sell CRESCENT rolls!!

Little kids who play leapfrog. MY GOD IT LOOKS LIKE THEY’RE PRAYING TO ALLAH !!”

As a result of DD’s cowardly bowing down to pressure from conservative insanity, many of the commentators have suggested boycotting the company’s products and writing the corporate offices.

Oh and Malkin’s real name is Née Maglalang. (sounds like a terrorist to me)

Why Republicans and the American Right never like the idea of peace or democracy

Posted by Edmund on April 22, 2008

Day in and day out you will see conservative bloggers, “journalists” and talking heads continually degrade things that their own constitution was founded around. America was created by nationalists, people who desired self determination from a foreign entity. They also wanted a democracy, where their voices would be heard. Many people in the United States and the world obviously think that these are horrible ideas and wouldn’t you know it, its not those dirty stinking dune coons or those crazy turban wearing Iranians and its definitely not those ungrateful spear chucking porch monkeys. The people who hate democracy, who hate the idea of nationalism, who idea the concept of standing up for your self are, well, conservatives.

In South Africa apartheid existed for far too long. The white settlers labeled all resistance as terrorism and ended up jailing Nelson Mandela for 27 years. Wouldn’t you know it but America and the conservatives within it did not mention a word or put any pressure on the state until 1989, 26 years into Mandela’s prison sentence. President Reagan even vetoed the bill that took more than 17 years to pass. Was this to be expected from a country that had been discriminating against its darker skinned citizens for a century after their freedom from enslavement? To be fair, they were free in the North, discriminated against less in the North. It was the South and West with its conservative roots that still to this day discriminates against and every and all persons who have a tan.

It is the conservative right that wants us to go to war with Iran, a fellow democracy. A democracy with rules similar to our own. A president can only serve two 4 year terms. The president is elected through universal suffrage. None of this matters, to the unwashed masses of Texas - Iran is a regime that needs to be overthrown. The idea of elections being held in 2009 means nothing. Everytime Ahmedinejad’s ratings go down in his country the conservative right in America steps up their rhetoric and just like magic our boy in Iran gains in the polls. You would assume that people would catch on, but just leave it to the republicans to be 50 years behind the times on all matters. But even before these events in Iran, we invaded and removed a democratically elected Prime Minister thus leading the way for the Shah to become a dictator.

Republicans supported Saddam Hussein to fight Iran after they messed up. Donald Rumsfeld even shook hands and had dinner with Saddam. Job well done

Republicans sent money and weapons to the Taliban and Osama bin Laden while also offering to train their troops in an attempt to get back at those dirty Russians (who have never actually been at war with the United States). Job well done.

It is the republicans who support China’s oppression of not only the Tibetan nation but also of the Democracy of Taiwan. Taiwan, one of the beacons of freedom and democracy in Asia is not recognized by the United States because the conservative factions feel that democracy and freedom are not things to be supported.

When people protest the treatment of Tibetan monks, who is it that always called the activists un-american and unpatriotic? Take a wild guess.

The most recent event? The refusal to speak to elected officials in an effort to make peace. I won’t even get into this. What are we supposed to expect from people who refer to Rachel Corrie, a peace activist, as “St. Pancake.”

Lovers of democracy, defenders of the faith, bigots and oppressors till the end

The American Government has abandoned its arab citizens

US warns Palestinian Americans of delays in Israel

State Department says Israeli authorities may question US Palestinians on arrival in Jewish state, require them to obtain PA travel documents. US Arab groups: Bush administration saying in effect that Arab Americans are second-class citizens

Israeli authorities may question Palestinian Americans on arrival in Israel and require them to obtain a Palestinian Authority travel documents, the US State Department said on Wednesday.

The comments drew quick criticism from an Arab American group that argued the Bush administration was acquiescing in Israel’s treatment of Palestinian Americans as second-class US citizens.
“American citizens whom Israeli authorities judge may be of Palestinian origin are likely to face additional, and often time consuming, questioning by immigration and border authorities,” the State Department said in a “travel warning” to US citizens.

“If judged to have, or judged to have a claim to, residency status in the West Bank or Gaza, such American citizens may be required by the Government of Israel to use a Palestinian Authority travel document to transit Israel to enter the West Bank or Gaza,” it added.

“In addition, American citizens considered to have or to be eligible for a Palestinian Authority ID who entered Israel via Ben-Gurion Airport might be required to depart via the Allenby Bridge to Jordan,” it said, advising such people to ask Israeli authorities where they are required to depart.

‘A pattern of discrimination’
James Zogby, the president of the Washington-based Arab American Institute, said the State Department had accurately diagnosed the problem for Palestinian Americans traveling to Israel but had not done enough correct it.

“What they are in effect saying is that Arab Americans are second-class citizens,” Zogby said in a telephone interview.

“The State Department is allowing Israel to define how they view the American citizenship of persons of Arab, and in particular, Palestinian Arab, descent. That is not the right of the Government of Israel. It is our government that defines what American citizenship is.”

The State Department said it “seeks equal treatment for all American citizens regardless of national origin or ethnicity” and urged Americans who encounter difficulties to contact the US embassy in Tel Aviv or the consulate in Jerusalem.
The Arab American Institute on Monday released a letter it sent Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urging her to ensure Israel treats Americans of Palestinian descent fairly.

“The treatment of American citizens traveling to (the West Bank and Gaza Strip) frequently involves burdensome bureaucratic requirements, if not outright harassment and humiliation, and indicates a pattern of discrimination and practices intended to deter visitors,” the letter said.

Where is the uproar about this? American Citizens being racially profiled when entering an allied nation!

American Citizens being forced to leave through another country!

Should we next sew a yellow A on our shoulders and carry special ID cards?

Seminary students not so innocent

Posted by Edmund on March 13, 2008

That’s right. Mercaz HaRav Rabbi approved revenge terror attack against the Palestinian Mufti. He called Yeshiva Students to practice what they learned and it almost happened:

Rabbis Call For Jewish Terrorism

Seminary students planned revenge attack: TV

JERUSALEM (AP) - Students from a Jewish religious school where a Palestinian militant killed eight last week planned a revenge attack against a senior Arab official affiliated with a Jerusalem mosque, Channel One TV reported Tuesday.

The attack has not been carried out but no arrests have been made, the TV said, quoting security sources.

The three students met at the seminary with two rabbis to discuss whether Jewish law would permit such an attack, the TV said. One of the rabbis gave his blessing for the attack, according to the report. An additional rabbi from a Tel Aviv suburb also gave his approval for the attack, the TV said.

Torah law is that you should respond,” the TV quoted one of the rabbi’s as saying.

The plan was to harm a senior Arab official affiliated with a mosque at the disputed Jerusalem holy site known as the Temple Mount to Jews, Channel One said. To Muslims the hill is known as Haram a Sharif… read on!

The Israeli version (Ynet) of the story:

Channel 1: Rabbi endorses Jewish revenge attack
Several Jews reportedly granted rabbinical approval to avenge Jerusalem yeshiva attack
Ynet - Published: 03.11.08, 23:21 / Israel News

Jewish revenge in the works? A group of Jewish men have apparently been granted religious approval to carry out an act of retribution in retaliation for the attack on the Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem last week, Channel 1 reported Tuesday.

According to the report, several 25-35-year old men met with two prominent rabbinical figures – the first a rabbi at Mercaz Harav yeshiva and the second a rabbi known in far Right circles – two days after the attack, to discus possible retribution.

After reaching the conclusion that the IDF is unlikely to retaliate for the attack, the rabbis apparently sanctioned an independent act of revenge, giving three of the men – all believed to be yeshiva graduates who served in the IDF and are licensed to carry arms – several books on the redemption of the Land of Israel.

Three of the men then met with a Bnei Brak rabbi, the head of a Sephardic yeshiva, and introduced him to the notion of retribution in the form of harming an Arab figure associated with Temple Mount.

The rabbi, said Channel 1, gave them his blessing.

However, the Mercaz Harav yeshiva vehemently denied reports that any student or rabbi associated with the seminary planned to carry out an attack on Arabs.

“This report is baseless, and as proof of that, no arrests have been made,” the yeshiva said in its response.

Defense establishment monitors developments

Meanwhile, the defense establishment has been following similar reports suggesting the possibility of Jewish radicals carrying out an act of revenge

A Security source told Ynet that there is great difficulty tracking Jewish elements looking to harm Arabs, citing the 2005 Eden Natan Zada case, in which an IDF deserter opened fire on a bus in the Arab town of Shfaram, killing four.

That was a lone, unforeseeable attack, said the source, and while the defense establishment is looking into several reports indicating some Jewish elements might seek revenge, no concrete leads are available.

Should am imminent threat be detected, concluded the source, the defense establishment will not hesitate to stop it.

But that’s not the end of it… they signed their names. It looks like they are preparing to celebrate the 14th anniversary of their terrorist, Baruch Goldstein, who conducted Hebron’s massacre.

Here’s the proclamation and a partial list of the terrorist Rabbis calling for Jewish terrorism:

…In notices posted along Jerusalem’s Kiryat Moshe neighborhood, near the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva, the rabbis wrote: “Each and everyone is required to imagine what the enemy is plotting to do to us, and to match it measure for measure.

The rabbis’ announcement calls on Jews “to work to create a proper Jewish leadership,” and envisions the day when “Jews will congregate in thei cities… and strike those who wish upon them ill,” - in reference to a verse from the Book of Esther, which will be read next week on the Purim holiday.

The long list of rabbis who signed the notice includes Daniel Staveski, Itzhak Shapira, David Drukman, Yaakov Yossef - son of Shas spiritual leader Ovadia Yosef - and Uzi Sharbaf, who killed several Arab college students in Hebron 20 years ago and was recently pardoned from a life sentence.

The list of rabbis also includes figures who are linked to the ultra-right Kach movement which was banned in 1994.

This proclamation can’t be perceived innocent by anyone. These rabbis did not state that no violent action should be taken, contrary, they are pushing for it. In fact some of these rabbis are known for supporting criminal and terrorist actions.

Rabbis Druckman and Yosef are Chabad members. Shapira is the student of Chabad rabbi Yitzchak Ginzburg, who has been arrested for violence and related crimes several times. These three rabbis along with the others mentioned above are all well known members of the hard right. Many are supporters of the dead terrorist, Baruch Goldstein.

What they are calling for?

The statement also says that the massacre at the yeshiva was “the direct result of the lack of a proper government, which should have acted according to the ‘Shulkhan Arukh’ (a 16th century rabbinical codex) which states that one must not forgive goyim who harm Jews or their property.”

“The governing leaders have decided to appease the Arab enemy. Only the real Jewish leadership can send the country to war knowing that it is a righteous battle against the enemies of Israel and God.”

“In going to war,” the rabbis write, “the Cohen fills the people with motivation by giving him the knowledge that he is going to fight his enemies and he must not show compassion or mercy.”

The message is clear: Murder Arabs. Commit Jewish terror.

I think the call for Jewish terrorism is clear in their announcement. They say “Each and everyone is required to envision what the enemy is plotting to do to us, and to match it measure for measure.” They also believe that their government “should have acted according to the Shulkhan Arukh [Code of Jewish Law] which states that one must not forgive goyim who harm Jews or their property.” The rabbis also called for “blessed local actions” (guess what action) and the day will soon come when “Jews will congregate in their cities… and strike those who wish upon them ill.”

The sentence quoted by the rabbis in full reads this way:

“The Jews assembled in their cities, in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, to lay hand on those who sought to harm them, and no one stood up before them, for their fear had fallen upon all the peoples.” Esther 9:2.

In other words, the rabbis are saying: “The Jews will assemble in their cities [on Purim] to lay hand on those who try to harm them, and no one will stand up to stop them, because fear of these ‘holy’ Jews acting in ‘God’s name’ wills frighten the nations into submission.”

Can they do it? “Yes they can, and no one will stop them.” Will they do it? “They are doing worse than this every day.” That’s what the killed student of Mercaz HaRav were doing… learning to kill Arab

Today in History - Hebron Massacre 1994

Posted by Edmund on February 25, 2008

Many thanks to Haitham at Sabbah Blog for this post

14 Years of Lessons after Al-Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre - A Memorial History for the 30 Palestinian Martyrs

The story:

The dawn of Friday 15 Ramadan 1414 a.h. / 25 February 1994 marked the first of three massacres perpetrated by Israeli settlers accompanied by the Israeli Army. There were more than 30 martyrs and 270 injured. The main massacre toke place while the victims were performing al- Fajr (Dawn) Prayer at Al Ibrahimi mosque.

Al Ibrahimi Mosque
(Al-Ibrahimi Mosque - Al-Khalil, Occupied Palestine)At 05:00 on February 25, around eight hundred Palestinian Muslims passed through the east gate of Al-Ibrahimi mosque to participate in al-Fajr prayer, the first of the five daily Islamic prayers. At that time of the holy month of Ramadan, there were many people who flocked the Ibrahimi Mosque to perform their prayers. The mosque was under Israeli Army guard.

Baruch GoldsteinThat same day, a Jewish American Zionist physician decided to materialize the dream of the typical Zionist movement of annihilating the Arab existence in Palestine. Dr. Baruch Goldstein prepared for the move. It was during Ramadan when Dr. Goldstein decided to execute his old plan of vengeance.

Goldstein passed two army checkpoints at the dawn of February 25, 1994 from the northeastern gate of the mosque near privy. That privy could be the reason why Goldstein decided on that gate because he, probably, received his contemplation about Arabs from the Rabbis of Kach in Kiryat Arab where the Ar
